- this blog- defining asian america- was created for my asian american studies class on contemporary asian american communities. this is an attempt to gather details on the lives of the hugely diverse asian american community living in the bay area. i hope to expand this project to include all ages and maybe at some point people across the u.s. will check this out and start something similar. for the photo portion, participants were asked to take photos centered on 4 themes: *How does society see your ethnic group/groups? ** How do you define and/or see your ethnic group/groups? *** How do you define and/or see your American identity? **** Document your everyday life and what is most important to you.
